Auto glass, done where the car already is
Celina was named the fastest-growing city in the United States in May 2026, and anyone who drives Preston Road at 7am already knew it. Roughly two hundred building permits a month, seven thousand homes going up at Legacy Hills alone, thirteen miles of Dallas North Tollway under construction, and simultaneous work on FM 428, FM 1385, FM 1461, Coit Road and CR 52. All of that runs on dump trucks and aggregate hauling, most of it on two-lane farm-to-market roads with nowhere to move over.
Celina Auto Glass connects drivers in Celina and the surrounding Collin County suburbs with a local, licensed and insured mobile auto glass technician. Chips, cracks, full windshield replacements, door and rear glass, power windows, ADAS recalibration, and the jobs most shops in this area will not touch — RV and commercial fleet glass.

Repair or replace?
Repair if the chip is smaller than a quarter, the crack is under about six inches, it has not reached the edge of the glass, and it is not sitting in the driver's line of sight. Replace if any of those are false, if there are three or more separate chips, or if the damage has already spidered. When it is genuinely borderline, a repair is worth trying first — if it fails we credit what you paid toward the replacement.

Common questions
Is there an auto glass shop in Celina?
Not for vehicle glass. There is a flat glass and mirror business on the downtown square, and there are collision centres nearby, but the auto glass companies that show up in a Celina search are almost all based in Frisco, McKinney, Plano or Dallas running a service-area page. That is why everything we do is mobile — there is nowhere in town to bring the car to.
Why do I keep getting rock chips in Celina?
Because you are driving through a construction site the size of a city. Roughly two hundred building permits a month, seven thousand homes underway at Legacy Hills, thirteen miles of tollway being built north of US 380, and concurrent work on FM 428, FM 1385, FM 1461, Coit Road and CR 52. All of it moves on dump trucks and loose aggregate, much of it on two-lane roads where you cannot get away from the truck in front of you.
How long does a chip repair take?
About thirty minutes from the technician arriving to driving away. You do not need to be there for it, as long as the vehicle is unlocked or you have left the keys. Most people book it at their house or at the job site and carry on with their day.
Can a crack be repaired or does it need replacing?
A chip smaller than a quarter, or a single crack under about six inches that has not reached the edge of the glass and is not in the driver's direct line of sight, can usually be repaired. Longer cracks, edge cracks, three or more separate chips, or damage sitting in front of the driver mean replacement.
